Nancy has been practicing yoga for over 17 years and is certified internationally by Yoga Alliance. Her passion for yoga has lead Nancy to study many branches from Hatha Yoga, Kundalini yoga, Vinyasa Flow yoga and Yoga therapy.
She believes in honoring this practice
by teaching all aspects. Her classes explore all 8 limbs of yoga, philosophy, breath, meditation, and yoga posture. She brings a sense of lightness and fun to class. Nancy is dedicated to helping others live mentally, physically and spiritually fulfilled lives and keeping yoga in salmon arm alive and well. Continuing her knowledge of the practice by going to many retreats and teaching is important for her own practice. Blessed by many great teachers and has attended workshops with Rodney Yee, Seane Corn, Dharma Mittra, Karuna & Paul Erickson and lectures with Deepak Chopra and the Dalai Lama.

Hatha yoga is what most westerners simply call "YOGA". It is the most widely practiced form of yoga in the western world. It is best known as a series of body postures (asana) that promote mental, physical and spiritual health. Hatha yoga keeps us healthily on the outside with the body by keeping it flexible, strong, aligned and free from toxins...... and on the inside with a proper flow of energy and a sense of inner wellbeing it gives us the tools to cope with all the mental chatter.... It also promotes a greater sense of self awareness by connecting to and listening to what our bodies are trying to tell us....All classes touch on yoga posture, breathing, yoga philosophy, meditation with the goal of restoring health and balance between the mind, body and spirit...
Flow Yoga
Flow yoga is linking the breath with the poses so one moves from posture to posture in a meditative awareness of the present moment. Some yoga experience needed.
Meditation Class

This class explores many meditation techniques from the breath, mantra, walking and guided meditations. It helps you bring this practice into your life to reduce stress, tension and anxiety. The practice also helps to quiet the mind, develop mental control and increase concentration. It is the path to self-realization. No previous meditation experience needed.
